The Sportsbook is a bar in Joliet, Illinois. It is listed at 1401 Gateway Blvd, Joliet, IL 60431, which places it among the local businesses of Joliet that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–11 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Its website is hollywoodcasinojoliet.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Joliet is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Joliet follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This was our first experience eating here. We used to love the nachos at the sports bar at the old Hollywood casino in Joliet. Our server was nice and very efficient. We ordered the nachos with chicken. When our server brought out the nachos, we were surprised to see them in a pitcher-like contraption. The server then released the nachos onto a platter. What came out was a homogenized glob of ingredients all mushed together. The chips were so soggy, we couldn’t pick them up and eat them as one usually does with nachos. The worst part, however, was that the whole thing was so excessively salty that they were almost inedible. It seemed that the chips were the culprit and may have been over salted so we asked our server if we could get some unsalted chips in a basket. She was very accommodating and brought out fresh, hot-from-the-fryer chips. They were delicious by themselves or topped with the side condiments of salsa, sour cream and avocado slices but we still couldn’t tolerate hardly any of the nachos themselves due to the extreme saltiness. We appreciated the server’s attentiveness and tipped her accordingly but for $23, we expected something on the order of the old, t

The bartender during the Wednesday afternoon lunch shift was super nice, she was the best part of the dining experience. All I asked for on my burger was cheese and mayo, cook forgot the mayo. Burger was dry. Fries tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a hour. With only 4 customers in the entire restaurant you would think everything would be cooked fresh to order. Jumbo wings were not tender, disappointing.

Our server Lisa was so pleasant. We ordered the fish and chips and said we would split it, when the food arrived it was on two different plates. We thought maybe she didn't hear us how we were going to split the dish. She heard and went out of her way to make it more convenient to eat. She was a delight. Thank you Lisa! Also , we thought it was two dinners because the portions were huge! Alot of food for the price. Food was delicious. The fish and chips were flaky and moist. So good! The Brussels sprouts were delicious as well. Definitely a great value for your money restaurant with delicious food. Being near the casino it wasn't too loud and plenty of TVs to watch your favorite games.

Princess and our server with the platinum blonde short hair were amazing. I cannot thank them enough for their exceptional service during my 20th reunion December 2025. We did not have as many guests as I had hoped, and they probably did not spend as much as I expected on food and drinks, but we still had a wonderful time. Princess apologized for the wait at one point, but we were completely relaxed and just enjoying ourselves. She took great care of us most of the evening. She is a great asset to your team. Her communication was excellent, her personality was warm and welcoming, and she even called everyone by name. She was incredibly gracious and made the experience memorable for all of us. I will say that initially it was difficult to reach someone to arrange the event. I tried the website, Facebook, and made three phone calls. Eventually I was able to reach someone who provided me with an email address for Karissa. From that point on everything went smoothly. Karissa did everything she said she would do for my group and then some. She was extremely accommodating in the best way. Her communication was strong and she answered every question I had. We all had a great time, and

GOOD and BAD 1. Do NOT get the hot dog tower. Its hotdogs are tiny,a deep red color and just odd. The "buns" are thick, dry, French bread w a tiny pinkie sized hot dog. The sauce is a mustard relish and the fries were very good. 2. We also had the Steak Frite with Brussels sprouts. THAT was one of the THE BEST STEAKS IVE EVER HAD. Very melt-in-your-mouth. Generously portioned. The Brussels sprouts were undercooked and overly sweet. 3. Server was amazing. Place was packed and lively. Will return. 4. Very cool set up w service to theater type lounge recliners around the perimeter of the restaurant to watch the games.
